Welcome to Westwood North Academy!!! Life may have handed you unforeseen situations and circumstances that took you off your traditional academic track. Our program provides you with an individualized academic program to work at your own pace, graduate early and participate in Westwood Community School District extra-curricular and athletic programs. We, the staff at Westwood Community North Academy, look forward to working with you and your student(s)….

 

My first success was graduating from high school and attending college.  My major in psychology aided me in my pursuit of becoming a social change agent. I desire to be the person that makes a difference in the lives of every student I am given the opportunity to work directly with. I desire to pour the same encouragement into the youth that was poured into me.  More than anything, I want the youth to love themselves from their own integrity.

 

Westwood North Academy is an alternative education program designed to support students on a non-traditional path to earning their high school diploma. Offering a blended learning model, students attend classes in person for half the day and complete online coursework during the other half. The small school environment fosters strong relationships and personalized support, providing an alternative pathway for students to successfully complete high school and prepare for future opportunities.
